My dad always wanted his own little thrift store: shelves full of tools, signs, old radios, anything with a story and an honest price tag. In 2023 he passed away, and all those boxes of “some-day” treasures became the starting inventory for the shop he never got to open. American Pride Odds & Ends is my love letter to him, and to every person who’s ever wanted a second chance (for things, for dreams, for themselves).

That same year also broke me open in quieter ways. Grief, anxiety, and a lifetime of feeling scattered finally clicked into place when I realized I have ADD. Suddenly decades of “why can’t I just…” made sense. Instead of shutting down, I did what I always do when life hurts: I built something useful. I taught myself Excel from zero, designed a full inventory + profit-tracking system for the shop, learned Canva and branding, and started posting the messy truth on YouTube and Facebook. Turns out a lot of us are carrying heavy things while pretending we’re fine.

So now I do two things I love:

1. Run American Pride Odds & Ends A real-life thrift store packed with tools, vintage signs, furniture, man-cave gold, and patriotic pieces (all priced the way Dad would have wanted). Come dig, stay and talk, bring coffee money or just stories.
2. Help people like us Late-diagnosed, grieving, overwhelmed, or just tired of open browser tabs and half-finished ideas. I offer: • “Unload Sessions” – 1-on-1 safe space to talk through anxiety, big life transitions, or whatever you’ve never said out loud • Custom Excel systems that make your small business, reselling, or side hustle finally feel easy • Simple, human branding so your voice stops hiding
